So... It's been a long while since I've done some writing and this morning I've decided to change that.
This morning I embarked on the next fun experiment for myself, Whole 30. I've been eating and drinking like junk lately and I have not been running (because of a toe injury) thus overall I have felt like junk. So it's time to clean out the system and hit reset. And I believe it's going to be rough!
First off I've got to work this healthy eating into my little bitty budget. And secondly, I don't want to get burned out by eating the same foods. But I'm going to experiment as I go and learn what works and what doesn't.
Now, a little background on Whole 30:
Basically it is all about eating REAL foods, not processed junk. It's all about clean meat and seafood, eggs, tons of vegetables, fruits, and the good fats from fruits, oils, nuts, and seeds. It is very similar to the Paleo/Caveman diet. Whole 30 cuts out added sugars (real and artificial), alcohol, tobacco, grains, legumes, preservatives, and white potatoes. It is all about getting back to the basics and getting rid of the junk that we are consuming in our lives every day.

So here it goes. A month of reset. A month of missing those comfort foods. A month that will change my life!
I started out at 169 lbs. on the dot. I'll step back on the scale in 30 days and see how my body has changed. But don't worry, I'll keep you updated on how I'm feeling along the way!
God Bless!
"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 10:31
